The Centre for Study of Protected Areas
The Ecological university of Bucharest received on the 29th of March 2011, custody of the site of community interest ROSCI0199 Meledic Plateau, and prolonged this convention until 2018.
The site only requires custody, not the existence of an administrative structure, which implies the implementation of a management plan, as the inventory, the mapping and assessment of the state of preservation of the species and habitats present in the site were carried out according to the management plan within a POS-Environment-axis4-Biodiversity plan.
The activities will be carried out by the teaching faculty, master students and students within the Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Protection, together with teachers and students of the other faculties of the Ecological University, in collaboration with the Buzau Environmental Protection Agency.
